Hi.

My motor is a 1995 2.2 Si. I have bought it last year, it's done 51k miles with everything in a fairly good working order except air-conditioning and heating.
I drove the car last year at winter and the car did not seem to heat as you would normally expect it from a car, eg. the air blown in wasn't completely freezing, but wasn't hot either. Anybody any idea or is it the way these work? The cooling system seem to be fine no deposit in coolant reservoir only clean red antifreeze.

Also I haven't used it since last winter and at the time the aircon was working blowing cold air as it should, although every now and again a SERVICE indicator came up on the AC panel, although it didn't stop it working properly.
Since I started using it again the SERVICE indicator on the AC panel is permanantly on, but it's not blowing cold air anymore.
I would appriciate any suggwestions as I can't find any info in english and unfortunately I don't speak german.

Hi!

Hope I could help you... My english isn't good,I have to say in advance ....

I Think that the Air-Condition runs Empty .. that means you have to Refill the Compressor (?!) of the Air-condition .
But I have to say that the Air-Condition runs with FCKW(don't know what this means in english).

The Problem is that you may have big Problems with Refilling this Air-Condition because FCKW is no longer allowed to use.
By the way you should Check if the Compressor is running anyway.

Hope thats not to far away from Understandig ...
